So do you think he is just stupid or is it the old age kicking in? My Dad was a very smart guy in his day, an excutive at US Steel. He just turned 81 and he tells us the same story he just told us 10 minutes before. The state of Texas still allows him to drive but I won't ride with him. I just don't think someone that old should be in office. What do you think about all of the negative ads? I would rather the canidate tell me what they think about the issues instead of what a bad person the other canidate is.
I think that John McCain represents the "Captains of the old order". It is not just a matter of his age, but rather what that age and generation represent today. Now more than ever, our country really need to come together but it is very hard with the devisive politics and ads being played over and over. McCain would have done much better if he had just talked straight and had some reasoning behind his comments and statements. It seems to me that he is totally consumed, and has been for years, with becoming the President.
