My name is Steve and this blog is created for ASIP 5200. I have chosen a political forum because of the November elections and because of the enormous importance our decision will make to future generations. It is my belief that the Democratic party offers the best chance at a brighter future for all Americans. I am looking forward to future postings as well as your comments.

I am a deme as well. I find it odd that the number one thing that McCain supports rant and rave about is his support for our arm forces. I LOVE our military. I'm from the Norfolk area and much of my family has been in the armed forces, but there are so much more going on in this country then just the military.
Seems like kids today aren't much in touch with what is going on in our economy and the job front. Its sad.
I do believe that Democrats will better the economy. Right now the economy is in the worst shape ever, thanks to the Repubs. Go Democrats Go!!
