Did anyone notice that there was no opening bell at the NYSE this morning? I think that is the first time that has ever happened. The market dropped over 750 points today, maybe its a good thing the bell didn't ring.

The House failed to pass the economic bailout bill today. How do you feel about this?

I am glad that the bill finally got passed. I wish that there was something else that could be done to help out the situation other than the bail out but the problem has gotten so out of control that I think that is the only way to try and bring some relief to the issue.
I believe the bailout is a complete scam. These executives new exactly what they were doing when they brought these risky loans. Now that most of the loans have defaulted people are shocked. How long could homes prices continuely increase by 20%. This is now a burden the citizens of this country musy pay, while the executives collected millions in pay.
